An exceptional and highly unusual piece of Olympic figure skating memorabilia featuring 1998 Olympic Gold Medalist Tara Lipinski on the cover of the February 1998 Sports Illustrated for Kids magazine. This desirable newsstand/no-label edition has been hand signed by Tara Lipinski and is authenticated by JSA (James Spence Authentication), Certification CR37702.

What makes this example especially unique is its outstanding provenance. Tara signed this magazine during a February 2002 appearance at a Super Target in Southwest Houston. Included with the magazine are:

• Original Houston Chronicle advertisement promoting the signing
• Photograph of Tara Lipinski signing at the event
• Original Target promotional tour card
• JSA Certificate of Authenticity (CR37702)

An interesting and uncommon detail from the signing: Tara's handler, in an effort to discourage immediate resale, wrote "Tara" in blue Sharpie directly above Tara Lipinski's authentic black Sharpie signature. This unusual characteristic makes the autograph a conversation piece and documents a unique practice used at the event.

• Only notable flaw is a small dent/divot in the bottom left corner.
